Footage After Hours: Meet The Maker Session 1
For the past two years, we’ve trialled a series we coined ‘Meet The Maker’. These intimate sessions were aimed at introducing Sydney to Australian quality makes from various fields - fashion, food, design, skincare, art, home and living.
This year, with the support of City of Sydney, we’re officially launching Footage After Hours: The Meet The Makers Sessions. Reacquaint yourselves with the in-store experience, see the products first hand, speak to the good folk behind these brands and hear their stories.
We start this year's series with an introduction to McIntyre Australia. The story of McIntyre dates back to 1846 when Duncan McIntyre came to Australia and established his home and Merino sheep breeding enterprise on the estate he named Glenoe. McIntyre co-founder Ned Scholfield is a 5th generation descendant of Duncan McIntyre, born and raised on Glenoe. Ned and his wife Raquel Boedo founded the brand with the goal of introducing a new generation to the joys of Australian wool products crafted in Australia. Come meet McIntyre and support our sheep farmers and local knitters.
Join us and McIntyre as we explore their AW19 collection. We’ll be serving light bites and drinks. As space is limited, RSVP is required.
RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org by Wednesday 15 May. Let us know if you're bringing a guest.
