Franklin Road Preserves

Having spent several years in the bio organics industry and have great passion for recycling organic matter wherever possible, Richard Dowling decided to create compost for his gardens so as not to use any artificial fertilisers.

Quite by accident he discovered several years ago that by regular application of seaweed liquid plants grow strongly enough to resist attack from insects and most harmful bacteria. 

Through the family's chemical free growing, yielded an abundance of zucchinis, brinjals and tomatoes. Rather than throw the excess away or allow it to go to waste, they started pickling their vegetables, grown in Orange, NSW and as a result, Franklin Road Preserves was born.
