Pickapeppa is Jamaica's version of the ketchup or A1 sauce. A unique combination of tomatoes, onions, sugar, cane vinegar, mango, raisins, tamarind, garlic, salt, peppers, thyme and cloves. There's a secret ingredient as well but that's only known to the select few members of this family-owned business. The spicy mango a hotter version of the original with a more distinct mango flavour which we suggest using on prawns, grilled chicken and served as a condiment.
Aged in oak barrels, this sauce can be used to enhance any seafood dish, grilled meat, use as a marinade or dip, add to gravies or serve with cheese.
