This bar contains 20% roasted New Zealand hazelnuts; stoneground with the single-estate cacao, resulting in a soft, buttery texture. The sweet orange and sprinkle of Marlborough sea salt lift this bar to a whole new level of deliciousness.
The cacao bean inside this bar is the Trinitario varietal. A slightly hotter roast profile was used to create a more stable base for the hazelnut flavour.
They hand sort, roast, crack, winnow and stone grind for up to 80 hours before ageing their chocolate. They then temper, mold and hand-wrap each bar on site in their factory in Wellington, New Zealand. Their bars are made in micro batches and individually numbered.
