Waverley Mills have been long time proponents of sustainability and the environment, recycling their wool for more than 50 years, creating recycled wool product. The recycled throw is designed by BernabeiFreeman using a colour block effect. The recycled fibre is made up of the natural unused fibre, off-cuts and older blankets shredded, spun and blended with their softest wool to create the recycled yarn. This yarn is then woven in its natural state.
The colour specks in the yarn is from the recycled parts of the yarn and the stripes are all in 100% supersoft wool. After the throw is woven, the fiber is brushed to give it an even softer feel to the skin. This throw is Machine Washable.
